Model 10-5 with Duralumin handles question

I wondered if the duralumin handles were thinner than the micarta or wood. I have one coming in January (I hope).

Thanks!

I never noticed a difference, so I'd lean towards no. I've had 'em with aluminum, wood, and Micarta handles and all felt nice in hand, and were light. Cool knife, you'll probably like it quite a bit.

The wood and Micarta are mid 70's knives (horizontal S stamp); the aluminum handled variant a little older (based on blade stamp and thumb notch type). This from memory; it's late and I'm tired from wood splitting earlier.

Thanks for the information, 10-5's are really handy knives. I have one in rosewood. thought a duralumin would be a nice user.
