Model 14 vs. Model 16

Can anyone compare and contrast these two knives? From the catalog and Randall's webpage they look very similar to me in terms of blade shape and size. The only obvious difference seems to be the handle design and material, but with the option of selecting a different style handle (at extra charge, of course) is there really anything that sets these two apart? What am I missing? Thanks.

I have the 16 special fighter with border patrol handle and 3/4 tang also the 14 with same . the 14 blade is about 1/2 inch wider and to me the 16 moves more balanced and quicker with either one you can't go wrong
