Here's an image I cooked up for a knife photo contest on another forum. Thought those of us who appreciate Randall Made Knives might also get a kick out of this image. My #16 Diver's Knife is truly one of the best large utility blades I've ever used - in the water or on land. I like a different handle if I'm forced to do a lot of high impact chopping but otherwise it's the best and the toughest of 'em all. My impression is that it's a very under-rated knife because it's not as 'pretty' as some others. I wouldn't argue that it's less attractive but, in my opinion, the #16 Diver's Knife deserves more respect.

Hope others with share their opinions regarding this RMK model as well.

HTMD, it kind of looks like someone dropped it from above and it's making a near miss on that diver! A #16 was my first Randall back in 1995. I ordered mine more for military service than diving, although it now resides with my son who has his diving certificate and lives in Hawaii.

Mine (my son's) has a forward curved nickel silver hilt and a black border patrol handle. If I were to order it again, I would eliminate the saw teeth (remember, I ordered it for military carry, not to dive with myself).
