I just received this Model 16 SP#1:

The Single Finger Grip is my favorite handle shape, and the Red/Blue Micarta is quite nice.
 
That handle style is my fovorite also. Someday I'll find a model14 in tool steel with that handle. cool score!!!!!
 
I have become quite fond of the #16 SP#1, which is best described as a #1-7" blade mated with a #16 (or #14 or #15) full-tang handle. My first Randall is a #1-7" with stag handle that was given to me by my father, so that blade style has a special place in my heart. Here it is:

...or it could be called a Model #16 with a Model #1 grind on the blade. I received my #16 a couple of months ago. I prefer the spearpoint grind of the #16 to the clip point grind of the #1 (also, it is a little fatter blade top to bottom). It also came with a #14 style sheath rather than the #1 style.

Is that the maroon micarta handle, or something else?
