Can't seem to find anything on Byrd spears, canes and walking sticks etc. online. There is a walking stick on eBay now but I'd like to see the rest of Byrd's offerings if they're still being sold. Any one know?

With thanks

Floyd Byrd does not have a website or an email address. His address is 4245 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804.

He currently makes for the Model 18 a 48 inch walking staff and a 24 inch spear handle. For the miniature Model 18 he makes an eighteen inch mini-spear handle.

Walking staff: $275.00
Spear: $225.00
Mini-spear: $175.00

And they are superbly crafted and constructed....the 48 inch one makes for a perfect walking "companion"....enough heft to actually serve as a weight and yet not so heavy as to make the walk a chore.

Thanks for the added info, folks. When i first read the dimensions of the walking stick i felt 48 inches was too short. Wrong? Also, can the stick double as a "longer" spear?

That Floyd Byrd makes all kinds of 'stuff'...spear shafts, 'skull chrusher' handle tips with compasses, replacement riveted sheaths for pre-'72 RMK's, rehandled Randall models with #18 handles, miniature knives that look like the Randall 'mini's', stuff like that...

It would seem that his quality is 'surprisingly good' and would be of some interest...

So, other than the high quality model #18 spear shafts and the riveted 'replacement' sheaths, has anyone else here had good luck on their 'Byrd' products purchases?

I've been selling a number of Byrd "Fighter's" as well as two variation of the Walking Staff on eBay. Prices as demonstrated on other sites, Arizona Custom Knives, etc. Prices for staff's have been in the $500. plus range. 7 1/2" Fighters as high as $800. Both pieces demonstrate High Quality Fit and Finish work while being almost Bomb Proof... The Staff is Perfect for Today's Urban Jungles...
