Model 26, 7-4 1/2”

I have an 8-4, 5-4, and 7-4 1/2

I’m really thinking about a 26 with a micarta handle and nickel silver hilt. I am also interested in a 7-4 1/2 in micarta but the 5-4 with a micarta handle I have is bulky. The 7 is such a slender blade a big handle diminishes the balanced look. My 7-4 1/2 is stacked leather with the standard aluminum butt.

Any suggestions from owners of 26’s and 7’s would be appreciated….

The #7 has always been one of my favorites. Here's a picture of mine. The blade is about 4 and 5/8th inches long, nickel silver guard, micarta handle. I think it looks and feels very well balanced. View attachment 2297119View attachment 2297120
