I came across a model 25 with a 6" carbon steel blade for 250.00 . Everything is in great condition but the handle is not a factory handle. It is a stag handle but much larger in diameter than what I have seen from the factory. There is not a pommel but it does have leather, brass and black spacers at the guard end of the handle. The stag handle tapers from the butt end down to the guard. Also has a steel? pin through the handle/tang.

Did Randall ever make anything like this? It seems like the only ones that I have seen all have a brass pommel. If someone rehandled it, did it lose it's value much? Sorry but I don't own a digital camera or I would post pic's.

Thanks,
Rick

Willis, Thanks for the correction, it's always good to know the facts:rolleyes: It's actually a model 25 with a 6" carbon steel blade. That will probably make a little more sense. Sorry, I'm a little new to the Randall knife scene.

Thanks,
Rick
