I picked this up awhile back and finally found it in one of the BCCI newsletters. It was described well enough to identify it, but the description didn't say anything about the inlays in the handle. It was made in "97 and is one of 500. They made one in '96 with the same etched blade, but the etch was all black without the gold and it had a tacky looking handle of mulit-colored wood that reminded me of some knives I've seen from Pakistan.
Someone has carried and sharpened this one and left a pretty rough cutting edge. The blade also show some pitts/marks that didn't come off using Flitz and I was afraid to try anything else.
I wonder what the cost would be to have Buck re-sharpen and polish it up for me?
