Model 31 Naked Blade?

I have a nice model 31 balisong that I got from a friend. It was bought from a Benchmade dealer many years ago. It was not used much and never disassembled or beat up. I have the original box that says model 31 utility clip. The strange thing is that the blade has no markins at all. No logo or made in stamp. I know it is not a copy since it was purchased from a dealer and it is titanium. Has anyone seen this before?

I've never seen a sterile 31 but it was an option Benchmade and Pacific Cutery offered, you should try the balisong forum but they'll want to see a pic.

I guess that is possible, although it does not say prototype on the box. I kind of gave up on selling it. It will make a nice user and conversation piece. It is light enough that it feels barely there and the pocket clip is nice to have on a balisong.
