Can you post a photo of the model number? "47" does not sound familiar.

Tom the bottom pic has the model number 47 (I think?) Under 10x loupe it is defintley 47,double click image to enlarge, I didn't want to clean too much on it? I know I could find nothing in the camillus catalogs etc. the #stamp is deep and well defined, unlike the maker stamp on other side not sure w/ all the words haveing to fit on small blade tang if that is the reason?

I saw Tom Liggett at the auction on Saturday and we discussed this knife. Tom thought that this may not be a Camillus knife. I could not see an enlargement of the Camillus stamping in your photos. I could see the model number "47". Camillus did make a model #47, but it was the "Longhorn" single blade lok-back knife. Tom also commented that the heads on the pins appeared larger than what he remembers.

(Tom Liggett is a former Camillus employee with 38 years. His last job was as a knife repairman and he is very familiar with Camillus knife construction.)
