Model 521 question for Joe

Joe, my insurance company also offers merchandise to its policy holders. The current catalog has a Buck knife in it. The company is USAA and the knife advertised is a model 521 with "fire arm" blued handles, engraving and your choice of the American flag or military branch insignia inlaid in the handle (except no army). The symbol next to the model number is similar to this, ]. The knife is listed as 6.5 inches long open and 3 5/8 inches closed. My questions are:
1. Is this one of Buck's standard stainless steel frame gents folders

2. Are the handles really blued

3. Is the engraving cut or pressed or cast into the handles.

The knife is priced at $89.00 plus $12.00 shipping which seems quite expensive for what it is unless there is a lot of work in the knife to get it to this condition.

I would appreciate any information you could give me on this knife.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I do not have an answer to your questions and the knife you described intrigues me. Is there any way you can email a picture of the knife as it appears in the catalogue?
We do make a 521, but i can't think of a way it could be made with a blued finish. I could be wrong, it certainly would not be the first, or last time for that!

Joe, I attempted to e-mail a picture and description of the 521 in question. I hope it made it. In case it didn't I just wanted you to know I gave it a shot.

Now this knife is a stumper. If it is blued, I have no idea how it was made. It is likely an overlay which was blued.
