I received this beauty for Father's Day. My wife says she paid $15 for it at a yard sale. I plan on keeping it in my (small) collection; however, I would like some more information about it.

Yes, and your wife found a jewel for you. It was the club's "Members Only" knife for 1992. Each year the Buck Collectors Club and Buck come up with a special offering for Club members only. The put the BCCI banner and the year on one side and the club members number on the other side, such as XXXX/500. Some have thought that it was a serial number but that's not the case. Some did get sold with no numbers on them.

The 535 was called the Bucklock-2, introduced in 1991 and was dropped from the catalog in 1995.

Great Fathers Day gift!

My wife said the person she bought it from was selling two (not exact) similar knives. She called the lady about the other but it seems she already sold it. Thanks for the information guys!

Now that is a yard sale and your wife has excellent taste. Congratulations. She should consider purchasing a lottery ticket since she is lucky lucky lucky and you are lucky to have her.

Yard sales in my neck of the woods offer horse manure and short-handled and otherwise well-worn shovels.
