Model C Sheath Question

Do you guys who use the model C sheath with three holes in belt loop and the paracord really use the paracord? I know it is an added security feature and can see the need in some conditions but it frustates me and I wind up wrestling with it so I just take it off.
Old geezers like me get frustrated and confused easily by thing like paracord.:D
 
normal acvtivity no I don't use it. When I was younger, I did allot of climbing, diving, chasing through the woods and I did use it. I especially liked it on the smaller blades like the model 20, and model 23 sheaths. I improvised my model 2 with a shoe lace to keep the knife put when I was in the USN. I didn't want to loose it jumping out of helo's.
