Can someone tell me what model this is and it's approx worth? (It's Mint with the factory edge.) I traded another knife for this one but the guy I traded wasn't familiar enough with the model names either. (ps. I'm the one that did all the "fancy" cordwork.)

Thanks,

Greg

It's not a real Busse. I'll take it off your hands and give you a genuine Busse Skeleton Key in return. You'll thank me later.:D

That's a great knife and a favorite among many. Those slabs are a different color that most it seems. I think most came with a black or greenish micarta with tan being less common. I am not certain on that though.

Quick search found they have sold for around $400 - $425

Looks like I got about $100 of a learning experience then.:( Which is what I get for stepping out of my Tacticool safe buying zone.:o Live and learn I guess.

thanks guys,

Greg

Give it another year or two and that $100 gap will probably be filled

Wait a while, the value will catch up, and a NO-E is a holy grail Busse, good trading fodder.

Despite what you might currently think, you really did well.

Pearl handled Chuck Hawes linerlock.:( But... I'd use this long before I'd use the dress folder. So somehow I'm still ahead.:)

way ahead. dollar value disparity shouldnt make you feel bad. even used the outlaw will recover nearly all its value and will appeal to a much larger market. if you decide to part with it, that is.

i dont think you will.

So you're saying I can use this and it will still go up in value? I figured I'd have to keep it mint for it to appreciate.

OilMan, trust me, Busse just go up and up... some models are worth more used than NOT used!

.... and this is NOT a joke!

Great find BTW, I agree with the others, this is a wicked knife, and you will have endless fun using and abusing it...

Young man...you just bought early, is all. And that means you get extra use out of the blade! How can that be bad?

markets are difficult to predict. but as a general rule infi holds its value. it may or may not appreciate, whether you use it or not.

the outlaws with logos and polished spines are less common, and normally go for a bit more.

just as an example, i bought a heavy heart for 425.00. i beat the crap out of it. the coating was worn and i had it resharpened. far from mint. i sold it for 450.00 iirc.
