Models for Lefties?

I don’t own a Sebenza yet, but I’ve been doing my research to determine if this is a buy that would be for me. I’ve read the pros and cons put out there on the web. The pros out weight the cons by a great margin mainly due to the quality, tight tolerance of machining and ease of maintenance, oh yeah, also collectability and return of investment – if that’s a considered factor.
My concern is…I’m left handed (btw, I’ve searched previous BF posts back a couple of years not finding what I need as a newbie Sebenza enthusiast). What's out there for us? I know that the standard 21 and the Umnumzaan come suited for the 10% who are blessed to be called “lefties.” But are there any other models? Does the 25 come in my flavor (I've read "yes" and "no") or is that in the plan of production down the road?
I haven’t been able to fill in the blanks…need your expertise.

As of right now:
Umnumzaan
Seb 21 (Small and Large)
Mnandi

all come Left-handed.

25 can be operated left-handed but Lefties are in the works at some point.
Ti-Lock can be operated left-handed but I think a Lefty configuration (clip location) is also in the works but I'm less sure of that one.

I'm right handed but carry my knife in my front left pocket. I have no problems operating my 25 or my Zaan with my left had and they are both right handed models. I'm faster with the right but left works just fine for me.

I appreciate that Cowboy. Since most knives are right hand friendly with frame/liner locks or scales designed for the right handed, I own mostly right hand configuration which some are truly ambidextrous. So even though I've adapted well to the right hand knife world, the idea of a Sebenza especially produced for the 10% gets my heart pumping. I may wait for the 25 if I had an idea when it would be here.

I'm a lefty and I have a few lefty CRK's. They are all really great knives. If I were you I would not wait for the 25. I would keep a few bucks handy and troll the forums for a used Lg 21. You will save some money and you can always flip it if you want to try the 25 ... if, I mean when it ever comes out.

You can usually get pretty good deals on lefty CRK's since the demand is lower and they move a little slower then the righties. But along the same vein, you sometimes have to wait a while for the right lefty to pop up.

Benchmade models w/ the AXIS lock are truly ambidextrous; I have not found one that I don't like. The frame lock on the Spyderco PM2 is easy for me to operate with my left. And the BK9...lol.

I have a Ritter mini grip and the Axis lock is great. The PM2's compression lock is not a problem for lefties...I'm liking it better as time goes on.

Good advice Blade. I think that's what I'll do. I tend to prefer medium to large folders as opposed to the smaller anyways. Thanks.

Sebenzas other than the Regular with dual lugs make pretty good ambi-knives. I find that I can open and unlock/close a Classic or 21 pretty easily with either hand. (I have a roughly 50-50 mix of RH and LH Sebenzas.)

I have 2 large regular lefties with double lugs that I can open easily with either hand. The "off " side is usually milled on these to make the stud easier to access. Us lefties have to make enough compromises to inhabit a largely right handed world--I'd hold out for a dedicated left handed model or truly ambi CRK.

I ran a 25 all day today as a Lefty and it did a fine job.

It'll surely be nicer once the Lefty 25s come out (nudge nudge) but the dual lugs are adequate for now.

When using a righty in my left pocket I get nervous about the blade facing me and the other side of the knife is so much smoother. Also with my umnumzaan the tip would stick out ever so slightly and would scratch my hand as I would reach in my pocket. I wish I took a picture of it to show you guys. My lefty tanto is my go to Chris Reeve knife. Currently looking for a lefty insingo sebenza in any configuration.
