Looking at my website I realized I currently offer 19 models (not counting blade shape variations like wharncliff, semi wharncliff, etc). Might be time to eliminate some of them that have low sales.

Have you considered picking one to be your "signature" knife? I used to think the EWOK was it, everyone seemed to have one! Mine is still going strong after all these years. And my Pocket Scandi is easily one of my favorite knives...sheeple friendly, pocket sized, great sheath you made with a clip, and it's damned fine looking too.

19 seems like a lot. You've made so many amazing looking knives over the years, it's fun to see them, but being streamlined makes sense.

I may be strange, but I prefer brunettes.

With the ads running in the magazines and the book coming out in June, it is time to streamline, as Rockywolf said. You will get a lot of new visitors to your site and having a concise model line-up will help those folks. Also, it's probably a great time to institute the down payment and full-prepay for custom work policies, before the flood gates open.

I'm hoping the ad helps, after being out for two weeks I was hoping for some inquiries. I'm going to go through my site this week and streamline it.

Don't forget, any time you post a link to a particular knife it goes to your home page, not the knife. Well, at least when clicked from a phone.

I have, on multiple occasions, tried to click a link to your site (posted by anyone) only to have to search for the model by manually clicking through your gallery.

You and I have had this issue come up between ourselves in PM John. We were discussing a build and I had to narrow it down by asking which knife was posted before and after in the gallery.

But the narrowing is a good idea.
Possibly 2 in each size range, one or two forged, one of your more tactical looking models (GBH?), and try to spread your blade shapes over the course of them.

Or keep them up but catagorize them by size in a drop down menu.

Fixed blades > blade size > under 2" > 2"-3.5" > 3.5"-5" > 5"-7.5" > 7"+

This would allow you to group them into 4-5 catagories with intended usage being the primary initial identifying factor.
Want an edc, look 3.5 or less (2 catagories)
General utility, look 3.5"-5" (1 catagory)
Camp knife, look 5"+ (2 catagories)
-plus the customer can always change things up and decide for themselves what they want.

I think the array is a good thing, just the organization might be a bit of changing.
Show your width and breadth. Show what you have made as far as your designs, customs and customer designs.

Which would you like better, going to a car dealer and seeing one blue car and then saying well you can get it in red and black too or seeing blue, red, and black cars in person?

I've started working on my site, and need some top quality photos of the standard Rule #9, the Mud Turtle and the new model Kephart. If anyone has any please post them here.

I'm also thinking of giving the Element Series their own photo gallery since there are so many variations available. Possibly a "Classic Series" gallery too, for models like the Kephart, Nessmuk, and soon to return Canadian Belt Knife.

Started a new gallery for the Element O1 Series. Still needs more work, but it's a start.

Maybe ask Pitdog for dimensions of the TTSK? I love that model---I've always fancied one.
