Moderator for subforum

I just saw a similar post here, so I'd also like to ask for some moderator involvement in the SURVIVE! Knives subforum.

Really all we need are some threads made into stickies and guidance in possibly making a new sales thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. What can we do?
 
I nominate Silver Needle. He's not been around for long, but already monitors the S!K subforum 24/7:D He/she's (don't know...it's the 'Net) is a serious fan, but seems fair, objective and interested in helping the brand and forum flourish. Maybe Guy and Ellie could add their .2 cents.
 
I thought Manufacturer's subforums were to be moderated by their representative account(s); but I could be mistaken on that (maybe that was just the Hosted Knifemaker's Forums?).
As far as a separate sales category (ala Busse & CRK), that would be up to Spark.
 
Survive! Does have a rep on hand, I'm just not sure why she is not a moderator on her own forum?

Sales threads need to be done by Gold membership and above, this is the rule and has been for years. The sales need to happen in the Exchange, the only exception is if the manufacturer wanted to sell items in their own section, but that means only the manufacturer, and not must anyone that posts.
If you need the moderator to be involved, you need to email Guy or Ellie or whomever else is in charge of the moderator account. If it is something that requires immediate action, report it with the small black triangle.

As far as adding moderators, that is up to the manufacturer, not any of us.

Aw shucks :)

I should have expected that there is more than a little work and consideration that needs to go into the mod and sales forum situation. If Ellie doesn't waltz into this thread I can try to contact her.
