A question about knifemaking turned out to be about how to make spurs for cockfighting, which naturally set people off and it turned into an argument about cockfighting. That's not what Shop Talk is supposed to be all about.
 
Move to the WAYYY back end and lose it permanently. This question came up on another forum once, as Don Cowles was approached to supply cockspurs. Fortunately, he bowed away from the project. Wouldn't touch it for any fee.
