Modern Bowie in 1084 and maple burl

Here is one I am finishing up to take with me to Janesville. It is about 11 inches long the blade is 1084 hardware is stainless steel handle id maple burl and a little piece of spalted maple. Let me know what you think good or bad please.

William that is a fantastic piece! Love the guard / butt cap combo. You really outdid yourself on that one.
 
Thanks guys. I was thinking about using that same gaurd and grooved spacer on future bowies and fighters. Its basicatlly the same as the gaurd on the Elk Fighter. What do you folks think?

I really like those other two you posted, but I've seen similar knives from other makers. The thing I like so much about the first knife pictured on this thread is that it really has its own thing going with the square fluted ferrule. Also, most of the bowies I've seen with really long clips/swedges like that have much longer blades. This one would grab my attention at a table for sure.

Nice work, on all of 'em!
