I decided to hang a "Flint Edge" Jersey that someone gave me with a crack. It may not set well with some traditionalists lol, but here it is. I figured to add it to the family of modern fiberglass handled tools that get community use. Mostly, the USA made maul and a pickaroon I made from a import single bit I was given when its wood handle broke. I wouldn't lend a tool that I couldn't afford to loose- these fill that slot. I seem to have the opposite problem of some. My friends wont use my tools even with permission- too pretty. Cant turn people on to how effective a pickaroon is when they are afraid to use it.
Next time you see a yellow handled big box junk axe/ pickaroon/ maul / sledge... you better take a second look it might be a wolf in sheep's clothing lol

Thanks, I quickly went through all my single bits of unknown origin making pickaroons. Trying to experiment with different tip geometry for effectiveness. It was a shame the stamping was lost on the Jersey in the repair. Here is the cracked head and another homemade pickaroon with a more traditional look- recycled handle and round head brass pin.
