Hey guys, I'm looking for a friction folder that has a pocket clip and a modern style (carbon fiber, micarta, ti, etc). I am hoping to spend around $150-$200 (give or take 30 or 40 dollars).... Other than that I just want something that is edc sized, 2.5
to 3 inches blade length, anyways, thanks in advanced for the info!

Personally, i use a sheath for friction folders for safety. Search the knifemakers for sale forum, there have been some there.

here are a few i've picked on the exchange but not all in that price range.
makers Left to Right.
JK Knives - see his BF forum
TimberGhost
Todd Begg
Ivan Campos (Argentina)
Filip de Leeuw (Belgium)
Daniel Fairly - see his BF forum (+ one is up on the custom for sale by indiv. now)
Leif Lambertson - i think he's here on BF too
Hiroki Ohta (Japan)
Peter Atwood
Brian Fellhoelter

the Fellhoelters come up every once in awhile on the exchange. there are quite a few versions - all ti, CF to name a few
it fits a levi watch pocket perfectly. no need for a clip.

the TimberGhost Havoc is an amazing knife but a bit hard to carry because of its thickness.
very comfortable in the hand and the thorn pattern is stunning.
here's a shot that shows the pattern a little better
