My favorite pattern is the large single blade English Jack.
I have been toying with the idea to have one made as a liner lock, but finding a maker who will make a knife to your specs is becoming rare.
I was lucky to get to know Terry Knipschield and twist his arm to make me a liner locking English Jack.
She is 4 1/2" closed.
The 3 1/2" blade is CPM 154CM with a high hollow grind and mirror polished.
I wanted bolsters front and back (with the front ones pinched), old style brown scales, gold hardware and a pocket clip.....yes I know....it IS sacrilegious....
The knife I received is outstanding.
Blade perfectly centered, smooth early lock up and the detent sucks the blade closed.
Beautifully rounded handle or a rough edge or snag point anywhere.
A fine example of a traditional pattern with modern features.
