I didn't put this in the collectibles sub-forum, since most of these probably aren't.
Here is my collection, though...in case anybody is interested and likes pictures!

Top one's a Brusletto. The Marbles is brand new, and the Buck is close to new. The Olson is a gift from my father-in-law, and the one on the bottom I made myself!

Very nice Buck, and a brand new Muelay, made in Spain.

An old Western, and an old Ka-Bar

Very nice! I like how diverse it is and that you have old and new. Some people get into a habit of collecting only certain types but i prefer collecting like that and having a bit of everything. Are you mainly interested in fixed blades, or do you also add folders to the mix?

I've got a spring-assisted SOG folder, and a nice little 3" push-button switchblade folder, that I sometimes carry around.
The fixed-blade collection is just something I've done for a while...having an interest, probably, since young!

Years ago I got into a fleabay thing, monitoring the value of the USA Schrade Old Timers, and only bidding on decent-quality offerings.
I left my bids low, stayed patient, and slowly scored some good knives at a good value.

At the bottom of the first pic in my first post is a knife I made 24 years ago...the only knife I ever made. After cleaning the blade with a Mother's steel polish, I can just make out the following:

100 AR 1886-1996 BRUSLETTO Made in Norway
(On the left of that inscription is a deer-like figure, with a shining sun above it.)

I bought the blade at a small shop near Woodward, PA, and fashioned the handle out of birds-eye maple.
It's a little blade heavy, but I may try to drill the end of the handle and fill it with some lead.

Here is the rest of my modest collection.
These are in Florida, so they were not included in my original posting.

This is a homemade knife (leaf spring from an old car!), and an Edgebrand Solingen 471.

This is a yard sale find Japanese-made Boone.
Nothing special, but it was almost free!

Another brand-new Buck 102, with the very cool cocobola handle.
And, a Buck 673...which ought to qualify as a great "bang for the buck" knife.

Finally, a couple of pocket knives.
My trusty spring-assisted SOG Flash II, and a no-name, push-button, auto-open...legal in Florida! :)

I got several of the sharp fingers a few years back too. Very nice little knives.

Nice collection. My favorites are the cocobolo Buck 102 and the old Ka-Bar. I have a 102 also, but it's the more common and less pretty phenolic-handled one. I bought it as hunting knife, but the up-swept tip ruins it for that use. I either need to file it down or not open the bellies of any animals with it, as that tip will puncture organs and make a stinky mess.

Thanks for sharing!

Ha I had that same auto, but mine was a matte green. It was fun to play with, but it was too junky for me to trust using it.

I had that same auto as well, bought in Tennessee or somewhere in the great Smokey mountains. It fired hard but the secondary rolling lock broke eventually.

Great collection

i only have an Esee 4 as a fixed blade my collection is on folders
