Hope I'm posting this in the right part of the forum but i dont start too many threads so I appologies if havn't.

I recently picked up an Anza Knife and I ealy like the little thing - I certainly cant complain about the cutting power although I'm a little disapointed with the scales - they are quite plain - while I like funtional i was expecting something prettier

so I've decided to rescale the knife - my question is has anyone done this - before I rip them off whats the deal with drilling holes for pins - I assume they are fully hardened? am I asking for trouble trying to drill through an Anza file knife?

any advice apprecated

Aren't there holes in the tang already?
If not, drilling might be a problem.

I think thats my question - there are no visible pins but I don't want to strip off the scales and find all i can do is stick the new ones back on

I cant seem to get on the Anza webpage to ask them

I've seen the odd one modded but that was a while ago and this seems to be quite a new one

I don't think I've seen an Anza with pins. They kinda have to use 'em on some of the segmented handles I would think, so maybe they're hidden?

I cant seem to get on the Anza webpage to ask them

Working for me.

Here's the email and phone # if you still can't get on.
