Lazerboy2000 started a work in progress thread about ESEEs production. It got me thinking it might be cool to see some work in progress pics of how you have modded or are currently modding an ESEE product. This is not include busting the tip off.

You can refer to my website or previous threads about what I have been doing with CeraKote and DuraCoat. :)

I have reshaped the handle on my lite machete some and some small things. I will have to get my friend to take some pics this weekend when we go on our camping trip.

Thanks for the compliments! I am working on a few handle projects...hope to have them done soon.

Here's my WIP,

It's been a fun project. I've learned a lot.

And how did you do that to the blade?
I know to remove the existing cover, but what made the blade like that?

Hey guys,

The slabs are both G10. The Coyote slab is coarse textured. The look on the blade was from a forced patina. I just soaked a dish cloth in distilled white vinegar and wrapped it around the knife for a while, what you see is the result. I think Nutin Fancy showed me that trick. There's also info on the forums here about doing it.

God bless,
Adam
