Got a used modified Busse Batac out of a trade

That´s how it looked like:

Was o.k but I did some further grinding, changed the shape of the blade and started to put on a satin finish

Will take me more time to bring the finish to perfection but I like how it turned out so far

Looked like the stripping or finish was done with a belt grinder

So the guard was a little bit messed up

Got several dents...

But the main reason was I just didn´t like how it looked :o

Looks good, nice work. I do like the look of a clip point. Congrats on your first Busse, and welcome to our forum.

Wow, nice work and some cool mods. I wish I had the patience and skill to do something similar with some of my Busse's.

Thanks for sharing.

thats nice. Kinda looks like a Ranger Knives Afghan. Sweet finish.

:D

I got an Afghan and a Scrapper 6

Love them.

That´s probably why the Batac ended up like that

ANY ideas how I could put a nice finish to the part of the blade next to the scales without removing them???

As far as removing the scales -- I haven't done this personally - so I can't speak to how easy it is, but this tutorial makes me think I could do it. You seem to have skills so it probably would be a piece of cake. This was posted by Wicked and is saved at the Busse Blog "The Edge" that Tyrkon set up.

Well done! But BATAC is one of my favorite knives in this world with its sexy curves! So personally, sorry to say this, but I think that grinding off the guard is just pure massacre on innocent INFI!
