Nice work!! Looks like you took your time and did a great job. I did a force vinegar patina & dyed my scales red but the turned out more of a dark maroon. So I know what you mean about green turning to black.

Very nice. Looks like what I ended up doing to my handles after they had a little wear on them. Still have the coating on... the new coating is some pretty tough stuff. I swear you could just look at the old coating wrong and it would come off. I have committed to let mine wear naturally... lets see how long my patience is.



Gotta love the tweeners.
 
That coating was horrible to remove. My next becker will get chem stripped or not at all.
 
I've never even tried to strip one by hand. Sounds like a lot of work. I've gone the strip & let em patina naturally route lately. The 16 is definitely my favorite knife but my 14 gets a lot more use. It has become my edc. Well actually the 24 has.
