If you have a boomslang that you have modified in some way, what have you done?

Pictures area must of course, so i'll start.

This one has had the blade stripped (except for 1/4" just above the handle) then polished to 2k grit

That does look great. Might even be able to signal a plane with it. Keep it oiled. As you know, i have one. The only mods i have done is jimping.

Bad pics, i know, but you get the idea.

I'd actually like to see more of their pieces polished with a clear coat on them instead of the black--sort of like the EcoSurvivor. I hear that the Dynasty Dadao will be done in a polished finish rather than "classic." Ought to look great.

I would really like to put jimping like that on mine, but i don't think i could make it look that uniform

LMAO---I was hittin' the whiskey that day. Prob wouldn't have had the nerve to do it otherwise. I just grabbed that bitch, put it in the vise & had at it. No planning, no measuring. I did it with a Dremel 4000 & a cut off wheel.

Here is mine, new today. Started by knocking off the shoulder with some sandpaper then I stripped it and now I'm putting a convex edge on it. Love it so far but need some more time to test. Trying to see if it measures up to my favorite large knife the amazing ontario gen 2 sp 50.
