Kaos had been working on this idea since last winter. I thought is was very clever! Both of our schedules coincided so we finally built it. Here are a few more pics:

Brett and Rob,

Great conception and execution, I like it alot. Two tools in a compact package.Great job!

Regards, Greg

this looks very well thought out and made a sturdy solid machine made from a entery level machine. have you guys set it up to take the small wheels also? very clever:cool:

If you don't mind me asking how much do you have in it with out the
motor ? the part from grizzly and Robs work.?
Thanks

I see the disk comes off easy for long blades, nice

when are you going to fix that bench?

a clean bench means no one's working:D

Laurence,

I have an idea for a small wheel attachment that mounts to the arm pivot. I am just not sure how well it would work.

Nathan,

The cost of the of the grinder w/o the motor is $150. You'll have to talk to Rob about his prices.

Eric,

There is enough room to work smaller blades (10" or less) without worrying about contact with the disc. One could probably extend the disc out a little further so removal is unneccessary, but space in my shop is already at a premium.
Yes, I'd probably get more made if I cleaned less. Can't help it. :)
