Modified handles

Not sure if this is the right place, just wanted to show some work I did on a couple of Kershaws. I just found the galleries, should have looked there before I posted.

Great info on the forum . Looking forward to learning more on the blade customization.

How did you do the construction? Neither of these knives are particularly easy to re-handle. I'd like to know how you did it.

The leek is spalted maple. The od1 is amboyna burl.

That's a good way of doing it, as long as you don't mind making the knife a little thicker. You don't have to mess with torsion bars or flipper recesses. I like that you left access for the screws.

I'll work on my photography skills next. I take about half of the metal down before I bond. I do like a little thicker grip.

The exotic woods are almost amazing as what I have already learned about the steel.
