Not sure if this is the right place, just wanted to show some work I did on a couple of Kershaws. I just found the galleries, should have looked there before I posted.

Great info on the forum . Looking forward to learning more on the blade customization.

Good looking handles. I especially like the Leek. Is it desert ironwood?

How did you do the construction? Neither of these knives are particularly easy to re-handle. I'd like to know how you did it.

Thanks for the kind words. Phillip, looking at your album is incredible. I am bonding the scales directly to the handle using locktite professional. I can go into more detail if you like.

That's a good way of doing it, as long as you don't mind making the knife a little thicker. You don't have to mess with torsion bars or flipper recesses. I like that you left access for the screws.

I like that spalted maple. I really thought that it was the sapwood area from some ironwood.

I'll work on my photography skills next. I take about half of the metal down before I bond. I do like a little thicker grip.

I just looked at your album again. Amazing that you completely replaced the original scales.
