Im a knife nerd, I enjoy making them, modifying them, making sheaths for them etc etc. Well here is a Ka-bar I got to play with recently. Added more thumb jumping and the edge on top.

I like that, nice mods.
I have one and have wanted to cut the handle off behind the first finger well, and re weld a stright grip onto it...I'm just not fond of the gun handle, or banana handle as I call it.

Yeah this isn't mine but was fun to do none the less. I like more of a straight handle but was suprised that it felt pretty good.

Damn, your pretty good, I didnt even know the jimping was hand done untill Warrior pointed it out .

Yeah took measurements with some calipers from the points that were close to each other then the ones that were furthest apart. Most of this job was just making sure they were nice and evenly spaced. After they were filed in I went in with a metal rod and some 220 sandpaper and cleaned them up.

Oh, now that is some good work. Makes that little devil, even better.

Wicked:cool:!!It makes it much more useful for its intended purpose.

I'm tellin' ya, those TDI knives are some really great designs for a person to use for defense. I don't look to knife as my first choice, but if its all I got, well, then its all I got. And if I have one and the other guy don't, that's a tip in my favor.

I was showing some of mine off to a buddy of mine yesterday, and as soon as he picked it up, he shadow boxed a couple of jabs, hooks and crosses. Looked at me and said he just got goosebumps thinking what would have happened if someone had been in front of that steel.

Yeah, they are wicked for sure, and double more so on that one.

Boxer + push knife = lethal combination.

Best part is, its not a push knife. A lot of places ban push knives, and Mr. Benner has thought about that. The blade angle on a push knife must 90 degrees off of the center axis of the handle, these are more like 75 degrees. :D
