I was so happy to receive this knife in the mail today. I had asked John a few weeks ago for a Last Resort Knife...a Pitdog creation if I remember correctly...with some scale left on the knife.

Then John posted a "modified" LRK last week and I liked the shape of the handle. I emailed John if it was too late to make a change--it wasn't.

So here it is: a modified LRK with some scale. Rugged and dirty and very cool. An added bonus was a very nicely made Kydex sheath. I'm planning to carry this in my pocket this weekend and see how it goes.

Because my knife buying/selling/collecting disease, I might need another...

Once again, thanks John.

I got one just like that yesterday. Aren't they just the perfect pocket blade?

Now ya need to turn it into a mini PSK !

Mine has a ferro rod wrapped with Jute, some fatwood, some fishing line and a hook, some inner tube, whistle and a small signal mirror.......

Went on a short hike along the James River in Richmond, VA this morning with the family. I took my new LRK with me which came in handy.

Here are some bad cell phone pics:
