Hi,
I think that the finger guard on the Mora 2000 is too small and I also think the overall guard is a bit clumsy, like the pommel;
so, I reshaped mine by using a soldering iron and then I sanded the whole thing down.
I've also started to sand the spine of the blade to create more of a drop point, but I'm unsure if I should continue. We'll see...
Anyway, this is what I arrived at (click the image):
It still fits in the original sheeth, as intended. The knife is not as clumsy anymore and it has a better fit and is more comfortable to use now.
