I had an individual tell me that this AG Russel Morseth clip point knife blade has been modified. If you look at the back bone of the knife the bevels on each side of the blade are ground down at different points on the blade. He advised me that someone obviously modified/grinded the blade hence the uneven bevels at the top back of the knife see picture. He also advised that the sheath is not a Morseth sheath. I picked this knife up years ago and it appears to have had very little use And is practically in mint condition. Just wondering opinions from all you AG Russell and Morseth “experts”. See pictures does the blade look original or has someone ground the blade down and modified it?

The sheath looks right for a Russell knife. I don't know about the "modified blade" but it looks normal to me.

Looks like a AG Russel Pilot Survival Knife, and not modified. I had one and seem to remember it had a snap fastener on the sheath, but found a few photos of Russel sheaths that looked just like the one you have, so I do not think it is a "Fake" sheath. John
See attached pic. This individual was sure the blade had been ground down by someone because the grind angles are uneven on the spine of the blade. See attached pic.
