Let's have a modded SAK picture thread. Everybody post your modded SAKs. Custom scales, custom models, etc. GO! Sorry, I don't have any pictures yet. I'm in the process of getting a few to customize.

Heres a very minimalist mod.
The model is "My First Victorinox plus".
Butter knife blade reprofiled, ultrathin wood grips added.

I ground the serrations off my Boy Scout version Adventurer and made it more of a sheepsfoot. This is better for opening boxes for me:

I think this may be useful for those who want to replace lost scales. I've done it in other knives (non SAK) and some have come out a lot nicer.

After the scales fell off I molded some on with two part epoxy putty, the worm grove jigging was molded in before the epoxy set. once it sets it can be worked on with files, sandpaper, dremel. etc. I painted the scales black which has worn off with use, It may look better after the paint falls off more leaving better color contrast with the jigging.

Mountaineer Slim.

The mountaineer slim is really a cool piece. I have long favored having a file on my knife/multipurpose tool. I have been considering making a Mountaineer Slim with the bit system from the Cybertool series. Alas, it has been a project which keeps getting put off. None the less, I like your mods.

These modded SAKs are very cool. How would a guy learn how to make these mods?
