Modified SOG fusion

Hi, I've recently inherited a large collection of blades and found this axe in with it. It has a SOG fusion sheath and has the right shape but it appears that somebody fancied it up with chrome and a beautiful wood handle. Anybody have a clue what it would be worth I have an interested buyer but I don't even know where to price it at.

Sorry. Anyway, you'd get very subjective answers, especially since most here are more interested, if not exclusively, in traditional designs.

I'd take the price of a brand new one.
You don't know the worth of the handle material or work done to it as you didn't do it yourself or pay to have it done, but I'd say that the fact that it's been gussied up makes up for it no longer being new or mint.

Otoh, having been modded may tickle someone's fancy. (For one, I never grew fond of the Vietnam Tomahawk this one is based on, fwiw.) The price of a new one, well said, though, is a good starting point. This not being an original VTAC from back in the days, not being mint imho doesn't take anything from it.

Sorry for that I guess I'm going g to have to figure out how to get those upgrades consider my father was an advid collector from case knives to Randalls and i have several hundred to learn more about.

Updated myself once I was directed to the rules, I had just jumped straight to the axe forum and missed the general forum with the rules...

I know these are not axes but to to give Mr. Goldmember a taste. Eventually I'll be in the other forums with even more. These were just the loose knives.
