Modified Spyderco's-Show what you got

Didn't see a dedicated thread to modded spydies, I am all for knife porn and though this would be a good opportunity to show what changes you made to a stock knife. Swapped scales, custom scales, fancy clips, blade mods lets see them !


Got an Endura wave with swapped scales and a para2 clip and a self (not the greatest) added wave Delica. I call them the twins. I was thinking of swapping the scales to my wave Delica (factory) and matching the clip but, cant decided.

I've recently cut a few waves, I also moddified my factory delica wave. i would maybe suggest rounding it off a little to make it easier on your pocket. I also shortened the wave in my factory D4 by about 33% and polished it up, I think it also works better and it easier on the pocket. I know a few guys around here are really good at it, Charlie_Mike and another guy if you want to see dofferent ways they've done it.

I am about to have photos hosted here in a week or so and I'll come back and post 'em, I have a couple modded delicas. Your wave looks good, don't go back to a regular one, you'll miss it!
 
Man, your home made wave looks much better than the factory wave IMO. :thumbup:
 
Nothing too serious, but I did have one of my Chokwe's milled out to take a wire clip. I also turned my Tenacious CE into a PE (mostly:D) and estimate that 90% of my Spyderco's are not wearing their stock clip.

Lol you might not think it's great but this is honestly the first time I've seen a waved spydie that looked halfway decent. I dont get why they do the wave that way. IMHO spyderco's wave looks terrible (except the p'kal).

The color got a little washed out on this one, but it's a pink Manix 2 with a FFG blade, Rit dyed ball cage, and flamed clip.

My Sage 1.5.
Simply the carbon fiber side of the Sage 1 on one side and the titanium lock side of a Sage 2 on the other. I really like the look but I may acid etch the stainless liner to blend with the ti side.
Obviously I've got another built the exact opposite.
