modifying a 110 thread2

You'll have to re_pin one major pin that goes through the backspring, the smaller pins that hold the scales to the frame are going to be a pain in the neck to replace also. You could replace just the big pin, then 2 ton epoxy the grips in place.

Proceed with caution.
 
I've rehandled a couple of Bucks both of which had scale pins which I just removed and threw away. If no pins are visable on the original scales I would assume they are glued on but if you want to know for sure ask Joe Houser on the Buck knife forum.You will find a pin under the scales at top center which acts as a pivot for the locking bar,it has to be there or the knife couldn't function.This pivot pin doesn't have to project into the scales as the brass liners seem to give it all the support it needs.
