say i find a 110 at a garage sale, and it doesnt have the rivets.........

if i take off the old, cracked damaged wooden handles... will there be anythn that i have wrecked under that the slabs were protecting?

like some pins or something that holds the locking mechanism/

or will i just find some nice flat brass thats perfect to glue on a new handle material

I'm in that situation-bought a used 110 on eBAY and would really like to put on my own scales.

Fella's, not to be a smart pants, but if you bought
the 110's cheap, used, then what's to loose if you
just "tear into" it to see what you can do on your
own??

Hey, have some fun and explore what you can do!;)

The only thing you have to watch out for is the larger rocker rivet. Removing the small brass inlay pins does not effect the knife but the large on in the middle is what holds the rocker in place.
Hope this helps,

trhanks .

im just talkin aboutpopping off the wood scales.... if anyone knows how do do it easily, and then glue on somethin else, maybe some stag...
