Today, I received a Kershaw Offset with the splattered paint aluminum handles. I don't care for the splattering, and am considering taking a Dremel with the wire brush to the scales to clean them off. The scales are milled and then splattered. Have you seen this done before? If I brush the paint off and get down to the aluminum, is there anything I should do to the scales to make them look good?
