I have an extra Benchmade Adamas deep carry clip and I want to put it on one of my Spydercos. I have seen this done before but how do you modify it? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Paramilitary 2 with a BM deep carry clip on it that was put there by the prior owner. When I got the knife, he also included the original Spyderco clip as well. Just eyeballing it, it looks like the two outer holes of the three-hole Spyderco clip are perfectly spaced for the two-holed Benchmade clip. It doesn't look like there was any modification at all other than remove the Spyderco clip and attach the Benchmade clip using two of the three screw used to attach the Spyderco clip.

Not a great picture (Not even a good one for that matter), but you could always go with some custom Casey Lynch deep carry clips. He can anodize them in different colours and there's different lengths depending on which knife you want a clip for in case, for example the FRN knives, you want a clip long enough to rest on the flat part of the scale to avoid them shredding your pants. He also lifetime warranties his clips as far as I understand. He's on here as theoriginalspaceman.

That Chokwe must carry so well.

They all do. But yes, the Chokwe especially all but fades into an alternate dimension until I have need of it. Then it's "Boom, lightsaber" (Not trying to play off the upcoming Star Wars movie at all...this is my sarcastic face (Makes straight face)).

(Still making straight face).

The Chokwe has such a thin grind and utilitarian blade shape, combined with the perfectly simple ergonomics and lock, makes for an amazing knife.

EDIT: Didn't even notice the titanium Native 5, might have to get one of the originalspaceman's clips for mine.

The Benchmade holes are about a 'hole' width wider than the Spyderco's.

As snooka did, you'll have to do some filing to make it fit right. If you want to dremel it, just cut open the outer holes to form C's.

Or you could just buy a titanium deep-carry clip from Casey (theoriginalspaceman). ;)

You can even remove a bm logo :)

I've revoved it with sandpaper.. 200, 800, 2000 grit.... :)

My only problem with it was that it was a Benchmade clip on a Spyderco, felt weird. First world problems right? I just got another PM2 in the mail yesterday and I have an extra BM clip also, looks like I'll be doing some sanding this weekend.
