Modifying Brous Mini-Division Flipper

I have a Mini-Division. It is a great knife, with one exception (in my opinion): It flips best with the pushbutton method, and flipper tab is quite "pointy!" Is it possible to soften the tip (I guess a little grinding) without negatively affecting the operation of the flipper?

Thoughts, suggestions...?
