Modifying DSSF

Ok, I have a DSSF that should be arriving any day. I'm not that fond of skull crushers though and I'm thinking about squaring off the metal and losing the last talon hole but still keeping an exposed tang. The second option is to have no exposed section and just round the whole butt. Has anyone done anything like this on one? If so I would like to see it.

Have a modded SFNO, done by Busse - no skull crusher on this one...

I would really like an SFNO with FFG that I would do almost the same except to leave a small amount of exposed pommel.

Hard to say if it`s better or worse when chopping, but it`s definetly more comfy. My reason for dooing this mod., simply wanted to try out something else.
