Modifying Karambits?

I recently found a NIB spyderco Karambit and liked it just as much as the 511 or the emerson, however this one was considerably cheaper than both. The only thing I didnt like as much about the spyderco was the ring was rather large. Soo I decided to go to a reputable machine shop and have them turn me a spacer that is slightly smaller in size as well as making the ring have a better feel as far as durablility goes. I will post a few pictures on that later but what I wanted to ask is if anyone has waved their own karambit? I will probably end up waving the spyderco but I just wanted to post and see if anyone else has attemtped this. Thanks in advance for all the replies.

If its the Warren Thomas c84p model, it is a discontinued model and semi hard to find.
I wouldnt go modifying it much or with a wave unless you don't care about collectability.
I've seen some of these go for quite the pretty penny, as compared to their original price.

Forum member, Charlie Mike, likes to mod his Spydies to get wave feature. There should be multiple pictures of modded Spydies to give you an idea what they'll look like.

With that said, certain discontinued Spyderco knives go up greatly in value. The karambit seems to me to be one that will, so you might want to consider that before you make any changes to yours.

It is the c84p model and I actually found another quite cheap the other day and already purchased it. So I decided to wave the one I currently have but im debating on the best way to do so. I know the vg10 is quite hard so im thinking it will have to be sanded. As far as contacting Charles Mike and finding his pics it will be a little hard since I am not a paying subscriber. I have been looking for modded spyderco's for a while now and cannot seem to find any

Use a plastic tie-strip, works very well. Don't try to spin it more than 180 degrees ! :D
