Modifying leatherman micra bottle cap opener?

Has anyone ever modified the leatherman micra bottle cap lifter into a combo cap lifter/can opener?

No idea if it is even possible...

Had a look at mine. You can always try sharpening it, but I'm not sure whether it'll be efficient as an opener. Might not have the right geometry or enough material left after getting a point on it.

Mine works just fine as it is. What's the reasoning behind modifying it?
