In another post the purpose of the sawteeth on the AFSK was discussed. I know that the original purpose was cutting through metal but that some use it for wood. I tried sawing a 2 x 4 the other day and couldn't hardly force it through the wood. I was thinking about altering the teeth to make it work a little better on wood. I was considering thining the profile or filing the sides alternating each side to sort of make a sawcut. I was really thinking of using it more for rope and such instead of making it for wood although if I could make it a better performer on wood that would be great too. I was going to remove them all together but decided that I might as well make use of them. Has anyone tried this or have any ideas on modification to make them more efficient?
