Maybe someone else here has done similar modification, I couldn't find one with search. I drilled a hole in the top of the spring loaded stone holder next to the handle with a #20 drill bit. Then tapped the hole with M5 x 0.8 tap. I got the thumb screw off Hapstone 8mm stone thickness compensator collar which was the right length and had a large thumb head and installed it in the threaded hole. Now when I install a stone I loosen the thumb screw, insert stone (the original spring tightens and aligns the stone) and then tighten the thumb screw. This prevents stone from any rotation.
