Modifying Zytel handles, what's the best way?

Hi, again. Thanks for reading. In case you haven't read the BM ascent thread, it has recently brought to my attention that the BM ascent's (840) handle is somewhat funny shaped. I have owned one for a while, but I didn't really even play with it until recently. So, what I'd like to do is to modify it a little by grinding down the first (index) finger notch. I was just wondering what would be the best and simplest way to do this. I was just going to use a file, but I thought I'd ask first to see what y'all would do.

A file would give ya the most control, and probably be the best thing to use. A Dremel will work, but it tends to melt the zytel. Good luck.
