A friend of mine carries an Emerson CQC-something or another and would like to get the pocket clip modified for left-handed carry. Can you recommend a place that can drill and tap G-10 to get this done? I'm not sure if the liner is tapped or not because I have yet to get an Emerson.

Thanks,

Jarhead

It is the liner thats tapped, thats what the clip crews screw into.
The G-10 would never hold the thread.

If you have a drill press and taps its an easy mod to do.
If you dont, try someone like STR here on the foum.
Or someone at a local machine shop could easily do it.

The liner is titamium (although the non-locking side on some newer production runs, may be stainless steel????). Never drilled/tapped titanium myself, so not sure if there is anything special involved????

I like that the Karambits come drilled on both sides, so they can be waved out either backward of forward.....
