Hi guys..

Finished another one in pancake style..
It also fits the tek lok or an IWB loop..
It does need the RC molle loks, as they have the extra hole. The standard Blade Tech molle loks won't fit for the horizontal carry..
The piece on the front takes a malice clip to attach a molle pouch to..

enjoy the pics..

I hope you like it..

Great work, now I got some new ideas for my own Kydex work, I hope anytime it will be half as perfect....
Is the fire steel loop closed or a open ring the steel fits in by tension?

Thanks mate..
The firesteel loop is an open ring and does fit by friction..
I like leather loops more though.. so next time I'll be making the loop out of leather. Leather has some stretch to it, and will have a better fit when the steel thins down eventually.. Just like I like leather for the beltloop over webbing or kydex. It has just the right amount of both flex and stiffness..

Thanks for your information!

Just had a look at your page, very very nice!!!

Nice work and design. Great pictures too. Does having that much hardware in the kydex make it heavier than it otherwise would be (ie: with fewer rivets?)

The eyelets themselves won't weigh it down, but the chicagoscrews will. They are relatively heavy..

The whole sheath, including the cord and leather, weighs 148 grams

a more lightweight version could be made by using 0.80" kydex for the main body instead of 0.093". It could have the same amount of holes, but fewer rivets, would use webbing instead of leather.. would use different (much more expensive) screws..
etc..
maybe it would be a foldover to reduce weight even more..

lot's of options here.. ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys..
